Concert dates for 2012 Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tour revealed

Just a few days ago, it was announced that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band had plans for a new album, "Wrecking Ball," and a 2012 concert series. We now know when and where the legendary rocker will be playing after select U.S. tour were revealed this week.

Springsteen and the E Street Band are scheduled to hit the road on the "Wrecking Ball" tour in March to promote the rock legend's 17th studio album due to hit the shelves on March 6th. The first single from the album, "We Take Care of Our Own," was released last week.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has released a total of 19 tour dates, which will tentatively push the U.S. portion of the concert series through the beginning of May.

The 2012 tour is slated to launch on March 18th at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia and will conclude in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center on May 2nd. Springfield will also be taking part in the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 29th.

Following the May 2nd showcase, Springsteen is expected to head to Europe where he will embark on the global portion of his 2012 tour, which is scheduled to begin on May 13th in Seville, Spain. There are also rumors of Springfield hosting a show at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illionis when he returns from his world tour in September.

Tickets for select 2012 Springsteen tour dates are scheduled to go on sale on either January 27-28 and February 3-4 depending on the location.
