Life is Good: Nas reveals global tour dates, new website [VIDEO]

Apparently, life is good for hip-hop star Nas. The veteran performer revealed plans this week for an upcoming global tour and also introduced his new website.

With his 10th and latest studio album, 'Life Is Good', set for release in mid-July, Nas is gearing up for a global showcase that will make stops in North American and also in Europe. The rap legend who hails from Queensbridge made known the dates and cities for his upcoming concert series, which will begin in the U.S. and so far includes a 17 planned stops total.

Nas' tour trek will begin in Detroit, MI on June 9th where he will play a tour-opening set at the Chene Riverfront Park Amphitheater. Following that performance, Nas will then begin the European portion of his 'Life is Good' series, jetting over to Manchester, UK for a show at Manchester Academy on June 25th.

The European portion of Nas' tour will run through the beginning of July, with planned shows in the Netherlands. Belgium, Germany, France, Croatia and a final show at the Openair Frauenfeld in Frauenfeld, Switzerland on July 7th. Nas is also one of the performers who will take the stage at the 2012 Splash Festival in Grafenhainichen on July 6th.

The North American portion of Nas' 2012 tour will resume starting on July 19th with a show at Twilight in Salt Lake City, UT. Following that showcase, there is a planned month-long showcase, before Nas will resume with shows in California, Wisconsin and a final planned tour date at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ planned for September 2nd.

Along with the upcoming tour, Nas has launched his brand-spanking new official website in recent days. The website, nasirjones.com, is aimed at updating fans and keeping everyone in the loop about the rappers upcoming new album, 'Life is Good', and tour.
