Outside of PB&J sandwiches, peanut butter's use in the average menu has been limited to Asian pasta dishes, fudge and cookie recipes.

Peanut butter in tortillas, peanut butter in between frozen bananas and chocolate graham crackers, peanut butter with bacon and toast, and JIF's Hazelnut Spread as a base for a sauce in a chicken dish are creative, new ideas shared by chefs between teh ages of 7 through 11.

The young chefs entered JIFS Most Creative Sandwich Contest and the contest is down to five finalists who've submitted the most creative sandwich ideas with peanut butter. JIFs creative sandwich makers, all of whom are under the age of 12, have gone far beyond traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for snacks and appetizers.
