But Kandi's mom could have held her ire back a little. After all, it was her daughter's birthday. Kandi spent big money for her guests to come celebrate on the rooftop with her and have a good time.
And that Phaedra Parks'. Umm,mmm. ummm .. She's a smart one isn't she? Of course she happily leaves Apollo at home while Ridiculous jumps out of a box and into wine glasses. Ridiculous also manages new age yoga poses on party tables.
At least Kandi had a good time for a little while. Kandi said she was so caught up in Ridiculous that she didn't notice her mom had gotten up and left. Kandi's mom had a right to be offended, but she drew the line yelling at her daughter on her daughter's birthday. Selfish mom riding off in a Lexus SUV that Kandi likely purchased.
No fair to Kandi. Especially given the hard time Kandi's mom had with the boyfriend, the late A.J., last season.
Like Kandi's mom, a number of Atlanta Housewives fans were turned off by the dancers. That was too much, too tacky and they really don't like the image the Atlanta women are portraying on the screen.
And this is where Kim comes in. Had Kim not been pregnant and married up, she'd have been the great equalizer in the last word on Phaedra's gift to Kandi.
And where does NeNe get off walking out on Kandi's party? She's the one who happily and gleefully announced how great her intimate session with her soon to be ex was when she returned from Miami.
Apparently Greg was waiting for NeNe. And all he had to do to get his ex back in bed was take her luggage up the stairs. And she loved it. Every minute of it. And she giggled like a school girl too. It's great to see NeNe happy. She's a lot less frightening happy.
Previews show Cynthia about to give her husband Peter (Papa Smurf, Uncle Ben) $40,000 to get his restaurant off the ground.
It's beginning to look like Cynthia has a serious addiction to Peter. He's like a bad habit she can't break.
This is a very sad time for Cynthia. And her sister Mal, although she's wrong for trying to hide the wedding certificate, she's right about Peter's financial difficulties.
When Cynthia's broke, so is Mal. Especially since Mal is Cynthia's right hand man.
Speaking of right hand men, it's a good thing Phaedra was with Sheree when she visited the contractor and her property site. When the contractor asked Sheree how much money did she have, Sheree was irate.
Sheree needs a lawyer with her at all times when interacting with others in business. Sheree's temper and her quick tongue take her places that she doesn't always have to go. And it's not really fun seeing Sheree getting into it with guys. It's really bad, actually. It's great Phaedra was there to defuse Sheree's ire.
Until next week.
Was the RHOA way too raunchy this week? Or was it good old homegirl fun for the Georgia Peaches?
