On Sunday, the unforgiving British tabloids leaked a story on Manchester United star Wayne Rooney’s expensive exploits with a 21-year-old. The Daily Mirror reported that the striker told his wife Colleen that his affair with Jenny Thompson was “no big deal.”
A family friend spoke with the Mirror and said that Rooney explained the sexual relationship with another woman to his wife and then apologized quite matter-of-factly.
Should advertisers cease to sponsor Wayne Rooney, he could lose 100 million pounds in paid advertisements. Another British paper estimates that his wife, Colleen Rooney, would gain 10 million pounds in a divorce suit.

It is reported that Rooney hired his mistress, Jennifer Thompson, for 1,200 pounds a night. Jennifer Thompson raised the bar on the Wayne Rooney scandal when she reportedly told friends that she also had intimate liaisons with three other football players in a Manchester nightclub for a bargain of 75 pounds.
Wayne Rooney will have a difficult time escaping this particular scandal because Thompson, who describes her occupation as a "party girl," says she was involved with Rooney while his wife was pregnant with their son.
