Let’s just say you hit the lottery. Or you’ve an extra $400 to $5000 sitting around.

If so, you’re in a prime position to get NFL season tickets. But purchasing isn’t always as simple as logging on to TicketMaster.

Chances are if you want tickets for this season, you’ll need to purchase via an online vendor. (That is if you don't have family and friends who work in big corporate industry where tickets are often floating through office spaces).

Check the usual sources, Ebay and Facebook Marketplace first. And when you're done, check out these sites this week for season passes and available seats for Sunday September 8, NFL games and season tickets for your favorite team.

Season passes are a luxury but game day tickets and decent last minute seats are a necessity.

Try VIVIDSEATS.COM. You’ll get tickets to the Bears versus the Giants, for example, for less than $200 bucks a piece. You’ll find season tickets to the Pittsburgh Steelers home games for up to $3,000.

And that's true for tickets around the NFL. Season Passes are running from over $400 (depending on the team) up to $4000. But the median price, for some of the more competitive teams, are about $2000 for one season pass ticket.

There’s still time to get Cowboys tickets for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants in the nose bleed and standing room sections at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Vivid has a few nosebleed section (400) seats available, compare their prices with STUBHUB before buying.

Vivid's prices for the Giants vs. Cowboys game are holding steady at $75 minimum up to $144.
