Who is Kola Boof and will she go away?

Kola Boof is back at it. For some celebrity hounds, kissing and telling never gets old.

Kola Boof first got attention when she declared herself an Osama bin Laden mistress. Word has it, Osama had many women, mistresses and wives. People were intrigued with Boof for a minute. But soon after, that intrigue was replaced with something else.

Eventually, the western world figured out that tabloid sex with a man on a dialysis machine is just plain weird. And so Kola Boof disappeared. And eventually Osama bin Laden did too.

In the meantime, the Egyptian/Sudanese writer and poet published a confessions novel. The kind of kiss and tell novel that made Karinne Steffans, Bill Maher’s ex-lover, famous. Kat Stacks took kiss and tell to a whole other level with her kiss and tell videos after intimate sessions with hip hop artists.

Suffice it to say, Boof was the leader of the kiss and tell pack of black novelists.

And apparently, Kola Boof’s still in the game.

This time, Kola Boof’s taken to Twitter in an effort to rail against Kimora Lee Simmons. Boof claims she’s been in it with Djimon Hounsou, Lee-Simmons’ husband. Simmons and Hounsou had a son together several years ago. Djimoun and Simmons have been fighting off media rumors of divorce.

Kimora left her home in New York to move to Hollywood and be closer to Djimoun after their son was born. Simmons kept a documentary of her life leading up to Djimoun and the baby on “Life in the Fab Lane” a reality show that covered Simmons’ career, sales and merchandise at Baby Phat, her management team and her two daughters. “Fab Lane” was incredibly popular for Simmons who published a book during its run.

Hounsou says he doesn’t know Kola Boof. And that sounds familiar because Osama bin Laden wouldn’t concede such an affair with Boof either. She's been called delusional.

Boof says she carried out an affair with Hansou to get revenge on Kimora Lee Simmons. Boof doesn’t say what Kimora did to get her so riled up (from what we can see, it appears that Kimora married Djimoun, but Boof doesn't mention that, other than to dismiss their marriage as fake).

At the end of the day, torrid love affairs are about two people, not three. Boof’s carrying on an affair with a man to punish his wife lacks the tender love story and responsibility expected of women who claims to have it all. It makes no sense for a modern and independent woman to give herself away in the effort to hurt rather than find joy.

At the end of the day, Boof's track record is really bad. Boof has had an incredibly hard time establishing credibility with western media.

Kola Boof, according to her Facebook page, was adopted in 1979, when she was about ten years old and raised inside Washington DC. She claims that her lover’s wife (Kimora Lee Simmons) recently issued an injunction to prevent Boof from tweeting about her affair with Hansou.

Boof has just over 4,000 Facebook followers. Overall, Boof, a mother of two boys, makes thinking people sad. Boof released an official statement at her website and she sounds a lot like a jilted lover who misses her beau

Of course, Hansou says he’s never met Boof.

It’s not clear or easy to measure Kola Boof’s sense of pride or awareness as a woman. She’s got enough pictures of her on her website that reveal a woman who could use a makeover and a visit from “What Not to Wear’s” Stacy and Carlton. She wears tight tee-shirts over Dolly Parton, pre-op, sized breasts.

But worse, Kola Boof talks. She explains that she’s been involved with Djimoun Hansou since forever. But during that forever, Djimoun married Kimora.

The rest of her Boof’s rant reads like a woman scorned. But Boof, unfortunately, isn't capable of seeing that perspective. And it is clear that right now, she doesn't care.

Meantime, Kimora and Djimoun are denying strongly that they are talking about divorce.
