Adobe will resume work on flash to iPhone development tools

Adobe wasted no time in taking advantage of Apples's unbanning of 3rd party Dev tools, in a blog post Adobe said it will resume all "Dev work" on the Flash to iPhone tool.

"Apple’s announcement today that it has lifted restrictions on its third-party developer guidelines has direct implications for Adobe’s Packager for iPhone, a feature in the Flash Professional CS5 authoring tool. This feature was created to enable Flash developers to quickly and easily deliver applications for iOS devices.

The feature is available for developers to use today in Flash Professional CS5, and we will now resume development work on this feature for future releases".

Apple can still ban anything that resembles flash on the iPhone

Adobe may be celebrating but keep in mind that Apple stills gets the last word in the form of approval process, the way 3rd party Dev tools work is it lets developers use generic tools for iPhone app creation rather then Apples. I'm going out on a limb here but i doubt anything that resembles Flash will most likely be laugh at by Apples app approval team followed by a nice try email.
