The US Open is back in NYC and so is the drama that comes with it, during a match between Philipp Petzschner vs Novak Djokovic at the US Open Thursday, a fight erupted between fans temporarily halting the match. According to the witnesses who sat nearby, the fight broke out because of to much swearing and profanity.
The person who captured the video and later posted it on YouTube had this to say about what happened, "the young guy used a TON of Fx words and the lady complained. The young guy sat back down to get a sip from his drink when the grandpa physically attacked him. Not sure who started the verbal yelling first but the grandpa and the lady certainly attacked the young guy for sure. What do you think? The young guy got cuffed by the cops later. WTF!".
US Open is always filled with drama
This incident is nothing new in the world of tennis, last year Roger Federer drop the F-Bomb after his performance began to diminish against Novak Djokovic, in frustration Federer lashed out at the judge, he was fined $1,500 but said “didn’t give a shit”. And we cant forget the Serena Williams meltdown when she was called for a foot fault, Williams threw a barrage of verbal assault at the lineswoman. At one point she threatened to shove the ball down her mouth, Williams was penalized a point a later lose the match.
