Many Android tablets will fail according to manufacturer

Android tablet manufacturer doesn't have much faith in all the so called "iPad killers", that's being shown off at the IFA tech event this year. Ray Chen president of Compal Electronics said Wednesday that Most of them will disappear within a year referring to the endless amounts of Android tablets thats getting ready to flood the market.

Mr. Chen who is a manufacture for many of the tablets told investors that many will fail because competing with Apples iPad will be extremely difficult. Chen's company is currently building tablets for three major company's Acer, Lenovo and Dell.

Analyst are even more uncertain about Android tablets

Mr. Chen is not alone in his uncertainty of the iPad clones, in August iSuppli's analyst Rhonda Alexander voiced her concerns,"It's still unlikely that any of the competitors will be able to equal the overall performance experience of the iPad. Apple's complete integration of hardware, software, operating system and applications is a major piece of what makes the device a standout. And on that basis—an integrated hardware/software design—we don't see anything in the marketplace at present that seems likely to rival what Apple is offering in tablets today."

Alexander believes that Apple will capture 74% of the of the tablet sales by the end of 2010, despite the stiff competition she believes Apple will dominate the tablet market for the next two years with about 70.4% and 61.7% of tablet sales in 2011 and 2012, Chen's haves similar predictions he predicts that all Android tablet will sell a combined 10 to 12 million units world wide.

This cant be the news manufactures are looking to hear, nevertheless prepare for an onslaught of would be iPad Killers in the coming months.
