Unknown Duel-Mode HTC slider hit's the FCC

Verizon just keeps pumping out new Android devices like its going out of style, theres not much to go on about the mysterious phone only that its manufactured by HTC and its a dual-mode handset that's capable of running on both a CDMA and GSM network.

The smarthone is called HTC "PD42100" by the FCC and is sporting a 4inch display, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and a 1.2GHz processor and a Removable battery according to Engadget. My guess is that the device will hit Verizon's network first then later distributed to other wireless carriers such as T-Mobile and At&t because of its CDMA 2000 and GSM 850 readiness.

The Android device to trump them all

This isn't the first time this phone has been seen, back in august the boys over at Androidguys got a sneak peak at the device. Not much has changed since then as far as looks is concerned and still no official word from HTC nor Verizon but one has to wonder will this beat the Droid X by Motorola as the new king of Android? i wouldn't be surprised. At this rate we should see at least a dozen more Android smartphones by the end of the year from all major US wireless carriers.
