Dodge dyno tests the 2011 Charger R/T and 2011 Challenger SRT8 392

While on their Hemi Highway Tour, Dodge representatives stopped by a dyno shop with the 2011 Challenger SRT8 392 and 2011 Charger R/T to test the new high performance sedan and coupe. In the end, both cars put down impressive numbers, with the Charger making 327 rear wheel horsepower and the new Challenger making an awesome 420hp and 419lb-ft of torque.

These numbers suggest that each of these vehicles make more than the advertised horsepower (368 for the Charger, 470 for the Challenger) as the industry assumes a 15% drivetrain loss that would put the two vehicles closer to 312 (Charger) and 400 (Challenger).
