Kate and Pippa Middleton Christmas shopping for prince and baby

Kate and Pippa Middleton Christmas shopping for prince and baby

Royal biographer Andrew Morton said back in April that “Kate Middleton will be pregnant within the year or she’ll be defying 200 years of British tradition.”

Kate and her little sister Pippa Middleton are spending the Christmas holiday together at the royal family's Christmas celebrations at Sandringham, the queen's Norfolk estate, to help her sister-turned-duchess feel more at home on the holiday, explained a recent report in London’s Daily Mail that also pointed to photos of Kate, 29, and Pippa, 28, Christmas shopping for possible baby and princely gifts. In turn, Royal biographer Andrew Morton said back in April that “Kate Middleton will be pregnant within the year or she’ll be defying 200 years of British tradition.” Morton was referring to the practice of producing an heir sometime during the same year as the marriage; while conceiving a child over Christmas during the “King of King’s” birthday has long been something “royals’ have done in times past,” states a history of the Royal Family in England.

Speculation running high that Kate may be expecting with Christmas announcement

There’s teasing photos of Kate holding her tummy with sister Pippa in tow during their shopping excursions in London. Of course, Pippa “never talks,” explained a Daily Mail story about this popular royal who sometimes hangs out with Prince William’s brother, Prince Harry.

In turn, British citizenry seem to enjoy talking about a "baby" when stating that they’d love to have a “Happy Christmas with news that Kate is expecting.”

Meanwhile, London newspapers love to speculate about when Duchess Kate and Prince William will have a baby; with this week before Christmas as a “sort of countdown if they’ll reveal a pregnancy before New Year’s,” said a friend of the couple during a recent BBC News holiday program that explained how Pippa was asked to join her sister and brother-in-law at the royal family's Christmas celebrations so she can “support her.”

Also, the British media reported that Kate wants Pippa to join her at Sandringham on Boxing Day because “it will make being apart from her family at Christmas a little easier."

"She will need her sister there when and if she breaks the news that she's having a baby. Women understand that kind of thing," said one royal watcher during a recent BBC News interview; while others in Kate and Pippa's hometown of Bucklebury say their picturesque country village "will never be the same once Kate breaks the news."

In turn, the view of having a royal heir is "job #1 for Kate right now," and once she has a baby or two or three, she will be accomplishing her royal duties.

British government set to announce new royal heir

According to various media reports both in England and Canada, Kate was spotted Dec. 18 with an “undeniable glow.” In turn, such news has been turned into reports that both Kate and Pippa are bursting with the secret knowledge that “she’s with child.”

“If Prince William and Catherine Middleton were to have a baby daughter as their first child, I think most people would think it is perfectly fair and normal that she would eventually become Queen of our country,” stated British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg when recently discussing the changes in the rights of succession if Kate gives birth to a girl.

In turn, a Buckingham Palace spokesman assured the media that once we know the good news, we will let you know.

The “news” being Kate is pregnant with the holiday season and even Christmas day a perfect time to serve British tradition.

Meanwhile, a popular topic on London radio talk shows this week leading up to Christmas is all about “is she pregnant,” and is that “Kate’s baby bump?”
