KOEI announced today that the latest entry in the long-running historical strategy series, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI, is now available in retail outlets across North America.

In Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI, players will take on the role of a ruler during the Han Dynasty in the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D. Players will make use of more than 40 base commands to govern cities, manage personnel, practice diplomacy, and much more. Players will be able to outfit their cities with markets, shipyards, outposts, forts, and military units.

The game features ten different scenarios with more than 780 officers and supporting characters to interact with. In addition to the 10 scenarios, the game features 8 special challenges, a newly revamped debate system, and a create-an-officer mode with 24 customizable character attributes. This game also marks the first time that both English and Chinese voice options have been included in a Romance of the Kingdoms game. The game supports multiplayer for 2-8 players. Produced by Kou Shibusawa, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI is in stores nationwide for a suggested price of $39.99 - Playstation.
