Wind Ensemble Performs First Spring Concert

The Department of Music and Dance in KU's School of Fine Arts presents the first KU Wind Ensemble concert of the spring semester on Friday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m. The concert is entitled "A Bridge to the Past," with selections including Gran Partita in B-flat by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, J.S.

Wind Ensemble Performs First Spring Concert

Dances by Donald Grantham, Theme and Variations by Arnold Schoenberg (conducted by music student Lynsday O. Boysen), and Millennium Canons by Kevin Puts.

Dr. John Lynch is the Director of Bands and conductor of the KU Wind Ensemble. Lyndsay O. Boysen is the assistant conductor and is a master's student in wind conducting at the University of Kansas.

Tickets for this performance are $7/general admission and $5/students and senior citizens. -- www2.ku.edu
