American Chopper kicks back up on the Discovery Channel tonight, and it seems relations have not gotten any better for the feuding Teutuls.
Kicking off the new season of the Discovery Channel’s wildly popular American Chopper: Sr. vs. Jr. is not only the expected in-fighting between the Teutul clan, but an appearance by none other than Donald Trump, who wants a build from the guys at Orange County Choppers.
"There are a lot of bike-builders out there, but I really like OCC," Trump says. "I like Paul, I like what he's done."
And, of course, Paul Sr. is on the latest incarnation of Celebrity Apprentice, so it would be rather unseemly to have a PJD bike commissioned by The Donald.
Trump and Senior have a frank and interesting chat about the relationship between the two Teutuls. Trump’s advice?
Cut your losses.
“Paulie worked for me for 20 years. The day I made him a millionaire, he told me to go f*** myself,” Senior tells Trump and his son.
“Don’t leave him anything,” Trump says to Senior “Don’t leave him 10-cents. You understand? … Don’t even leave him 10-cents.”
Senior agrees.
“I can see that there’s a love there," says The Donald, "but I also see there’s a tremendous friction. … there’s nothing better than family when it works in business, and there’s nothing worse when it doesn’t. And, and sometimes if it doesn’t, you have to just cut.”
The new season of American Chopper seems to be continuing on its tried-and-true path of family discord. The season opens tonight with “Winners and Losers,” followed next Monday by “The Apprentice Bike.”

you know if the old man would just shut his mouth and quit stabbing jr in the back everytime he turns around maybe they could work things out i have watched this show forever and i have never seen jr, talk about his dad like his dad always talks about him.. maybe JR. should sue him for slander,,,and another thing Jr.did make OCC he uses his brain while OCC has to use a computer to draw up a bike, and one last thing Jr.has showed them how to make bikes in the last 2 build off;s and didn't come in on the project to put the fender on and say i built the bike ...WAKE UP SR.......
#2 Sr is the problem
It is apparent personal pride (and insecurity) is the driving force behind Sr's displeasure with Paul Jr.
Sr says he loves his son but his actions and attitude towards the issue belies what really lies beneath his skin.
Jr. is an artist and a designer of bikes. Senior is not. I believe Jr. is the creative force behind OCC's success. My only hope is that the father and son get together again for real. The ball is in Sr's court.
#3 Jr a sore loser?
I believe it is the other way around, Sir. Senior is a sore everything. He has been making on-the-spot arbitrary rules just for Jr (like that "no cell phone calls in the shop" rule).
Listen what he told Trump about junior f----ing him the moment he made "Jr a millionaire..." that was not the real story. He should have asked himself (maybe Trump should have asked Sr too ) why Jr finally had enough of Sr's bitching.

JR IS JUST A SORE LOSER AND FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE JUST LOOKING AT IT AS A MONEY MAKING SHOW OR BUSINESS JR IS THERE CAUSE MONEY ALWAYS GETS IN THE WAY OF FAMILY AND SR IS DOING HIS BEST TO GET HIS FAMILY BACK BUT JUNIOR IS SO BLIND WITH ALL THE TV AND MONEY FAME THAT HE CANT EVEN GO TO HIS GRAND MOTHERS FUNERAL REALY HES A F$%^ING LOSER SELFISH BASTARD JUST LIKE EVERYONE IN HIS TEAM PAUL JR CAKE DESIGN CAUSE THATS WHAT HE REALY IS...... HEY JR FAMILYS FIRST U LOSER CAUSE IN THE END WHEN THERS NO TV OR MONEY YOUR GOING TO BE GOING BACK TO YOUR FATHER U BASTARD
#5 Question...
Since Sr is 'soo' concerned about getting his family back together; why is it he whines about Jr. not calling when he himself refuses? He puts his foot in his mouth on national television every week, but picking up the phone (himself - I mean since he's trying right?) might be too tough? Family IS first, but Jr puts his WIFE first ahead of this silliness, as he should. Lest you forget Sr. tried getting family back via litigation...Remember that ALL CAPS??
#6 Loser????????????????
How long have you been an idiot????????????????????????
#7 Paul Sr and Trump
Who is Paul Sr. going to blame when they show how really inadequate he is at thinking on his own. Trump likes have a certain type people around him to make him look good. Trump, get on your bike designed by Jason, built by rick and co, put Paul Sr behind you and the two of you just go away.
I would love to see a show on Paul Jr alone again building bikes. His resistance to answer Sr's comments show what type of man he really is. Paul can build me a bike anytime, when i win the lottery. As for his Grand mothers funeral, who says he was not there? Cry Baby Sr.? That should have been a private affair and Jr. kept it that way.
SR. you lost the build off and they are using you on Apprentice to get ratings byt it will show how inadequate at life you really are.
#8 Sr. Is Just Lucky
Sr. likes to promote himself as some sort of great business genius, but he's not. He's more akin to a lottery winner. If it hadn't been for Discovery coming along and offering him a TV show (with it's fat paychecks), he'd still be some unknown schmuck in his basement cobbling together parts he ordered from companies like Milwaukee Iron.
#9 Sr Is Just Lucky
I have a feeling that is what Trump is planning to do; expose what Sr really is --business-wise.
The story of OCC is a good discussion material for business management students. There is a lot to learn.
#10 RE: Sr. Is Just Lucky
That's a good point. I hadn't even considered that. And I've always wondered to what extent the income from the TV show finances the business and helps to keep it afloat.
#11 life
I have always though that Jr was an arrogant ass**** and now he has proven it to me but why does he have to bring his brother down with him. The real talent is Mikey, his drawings are remarkable. Jr needs to grow up because he is just a spoiled liitle person in reality. He is a scumbag to not go to his grandmothers funeral, as I say, an ass****. What a PUNK! Jr, the world DOES NOT revolve arond you, you deserve NO respect from anybody. I feel sorry for your suck up buddies and employees. You claim you won the build off but what did you really win other than something like I just wiped off my feet that my dogs left in the back yard.
#12 Mikeys Talent
Mikey has the artistic capability of a 3rd grader. Sr has no creative capability whatsoever, Jason produces pictures not designs, he has graphic capability but has no clue as to how to design a motorcycle. He should know where every nut, bolt, washer, cable, bracket, and every other part goes, how many are required. Instead he's competing with Steve and Mike for being the Number One Ass-Kisser...and winning!
#13 Paul Jr. at the funeral
He was at the funeral. Discovery failed to bring that into the trailer, that is why Jr. is enraged with the Discovery Channel in letting Sr. have all the soundbite. In reference to them not calling there dad. They both should of done this. If jr. can call him about losing his dog, he should of called about losing his mother. Mikey admitted he didn't call, and made a derogatory remark about his dad in his soundbite. This was not the time for that. Mikey needs to watch himself. He is going to turn into Sr., with remarks that have nothing to do with the subject that Sr. is such an expert at.
I have always been on Jr.'s side, and I still am, because Sr. is so warped in his mind, that he really doesn't realize what he says in front of a camera that he is destroying and contridicting what he had said before of his love for his sons.Sometimes it got so bad the vile things he would say to Jr., that I would start crying, and feel violated, as if I was standing right next to Jr. as Sr. was on a ROID, as in steroid , RAGE, that I would have to take a walk. Jr. will say, "I mean he says one thing, but, then he goes and destroys himself before the viewers by saying such hurtful things, and then he doesn't know what he has done wrong, and doesn't understand why I won't make up with him...I don't get it...that he doesn't see what he is doing to himself."
Jr. should of been taped explaining all this after the episode when Helen died. covering all the accusations made toward Jr.
Again, something is not right here in reference to Discovery Channel and how they edited this episode. Some of the editors from the internet has tried to notify Discovery about this, but, they refuse to answer. So the plot thickens.....
#14 Paul Jr's Acting like a wuss
There's millions of kids out there who would die for a dad like Paul Sr. Sure the guys has issues but his little monkey faced kid and that fat tub of lard Michael would be living in Junior's back seat if it wasn't for Senior.
People who've been in business know Jr was even working for his dad before making choppers. He's an ungrateful %&^*() er. I'd cut him so loose he'd be spinning to his grave, and the fat one, I'd send a piano case over to his house to save him some money when he has his first and last heart attack to bury his fat ungrateful azzz in.
I've worked for far more ogres than Paul Sr, I'll tell you that, and they weren't my old man. Typical spoiled azzzpunks.
#15 Sure. Paulr Jr worked for his
Sure. Paulr Jr worked for his father. But that is not the point.
The issue is Sr has problems relating to his son. From the early years of the show (they have been replaying old, old episodes) Sr. has shown a pattern of abuse towards his sons, Jr in particular.
Yes, Paul Jr worked for his father. So did the rest of the team like Vin and Rick. Jr's contribution to the growth of OCC has been positive. He is the creative force behind the success.
BTW, have you seen that 'old school' bike they did for some horse ranch owner w a horse's head for a fuel tank? i think that was one of the first projects Jr was already out of OCC. That design was pathetic.
#16 Patterns of abuse?
Please enlighten me on this pattern you speak of. And judging from your comments I can tell you have no formal training in psychology or even enough data to formulate a "pattern of abuse" from a TV show. Jr. displays a lack of discipline and work ethic but it looks like it stems from the fact that his father was the owner of the company and gave him initial free reign to evolve into a creative designer.
Mikey, well lets just say he's pushing into his 30's and clearly lacks the ability to make good judgement on his own. I really don't know where he would be if this family was not as successful as it has been.
As much as I want to join the popularity bandwagon I just cannot dismiss the fact that the sons themselves would make better fathers themselves or have demonstrated an ability to have a good work ethic and the value of a true hard days work.
#17 just shut the hell up
I'm gonna give the exact same advice I gave to my mother when she and my sister stopped talking to each other. Here's my advice...............When people ask about my sister just say " I love Linda" and then SHUT UP !
My mother does the exact same thing. She badmouths my sister. She plays the vicitm. Talks about how her daughter hates her. to everyone even to total strangers. Before my mother and sister had their last blow up, my brother and I tried to talk to my parents about my sister's feelings for the things they have said or did. They refused to even acknowledge any other perspective other than their own.
Just say " I love him" and then SHUT THE HELL UP !
