Hardcore Pawn returns with Les not in a talking mood

After the ultimate betrayal, can Les ever trust his children again?

Hardcore Pawn returns to night to find Les locked in his office and things not going very well for the Golds.

As the mid-season premiere opens, things pick up where they left off, with Les feeling ultimately betrayed, and his kids trying to make it up to him.

“What the #(%# were you thinking?!?!?” Les demanded as Seth and Ashley walked through the door at the Pontiac store as the mid-season finale came to a close. “Did you not think that I know everything that’s going on in my business?” Les asked icily of his son. “Calling someone to buy this out from under me?”

“I thought I was doing what was best for the business,” Seth said, caught, cornered and terrified.

“Don’t tell me what’s best for the business. I will tell you—both—what’s best for the business.”

Ashley had protested the idea to Seth repeatedly, but, when it counted, came over to his side—well, perhaps not so much to his side, but she did make the trip with him to meet with the buyer, thus getting equally caught by Les, along with the primary culprit, Seth. Thus, she received a taste of her father's fury, as well.

Tonight, according to truTV, things are not getting any better between Les and his kids:

After Seth attempted to sell his father's business out from under him, Les cannot forgive or forget his son's betrayal. The shop can't function without Les, but he seems to have checked out and locked himself in his office, refusing to speak to anyone. When a fight on the floor gets tossed outside, the parking lot rumble rolls out of control and the Golds find themselves in the line of fire.

Is there any hope of reconciliation?

Stay tuned.
