Will the two Pauls be on speaking terms by the time Chopper Live: The Revenge hits the Discovery Channel airwaves with Lynyrd Skynyrd?
Rock legend Lynyrd Skynyrd will be headlining the Chopper Live: The Revenge event on December 11 in Las Vegas, Discovery Channel recently announced. According to Discovery, the the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will be performing the title track of their latest album, Last of a Dyin’ Breed, and their hit “Sweet Home Alabama.”
This year, the Chopper Live event will feature not only Paul Teutul Sr., Paul Teutul Jr. and Outlaw Garage star Jesse James, Fast N’ Loud stars Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman will join the quest to dethrone Paul Jr. on this major television event. The four-way bike build-off will be seen as a two-night special, and fans will vote on their favorite bike after seeing the four finished products during the regularly-scheduled American Chopper on Monday, December 10, at 9 p.m. E/P. On Tuesday, December 11, Chopper Live: The Revenge will go on the air at 9 p.m. E/P from Las Vegas’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Perhaps this season, with the added pressure, Senior will choose to build, well, an actual motorcycle (although, to be fair, one has to wonder if Senior’s attempt at creativity would have been so poorly received if it had been one of Junior’s outside-the-box ideas)?
Surviving the Process to Begin the Process
In the meantime, fans of American Chopper have been holding their collective breaths to find out if trying to do business together will be too much for the Pauls’ frail relationship to handle. According to the Discovery Channel:
[Tonight] Senior throws down the gauntlet for a build-off rematch. The stakes are raised when a new player is added to the mix. Back at OCC, tensions rise around the lift when Jr. and Sr. disagree on the production bike design process.
The two cannot even agree on a process to begin; how are they ever going to actually make it through a complete build?
American Chopper airs on the Discovery Channel on Monday nights at 9 p.m. E/P.
