Jennifer Aniston, starring in the new Adam Sandler film Just Go With It, has put an end to a six-year strain with Angelina Jolie.

In a recent interview with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton the former Friends star confirmed that she no longer is angry with Jolie, who married Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt back in 2005. “Jen said, ‘Look, that was so long ago, and we’ve moved on and we’re all adults,’” Perez told Life & Style magazine. "I believe what she has to say. I think she really has moved on," Hilton said.

"I still talk to Brad and everything's fine," Aniston told Hilton for a column in the latest issue of Life & Style magazine.

Aniston and Pitt finalized their divorce on October 2, 2005 following news two months prior stating that the couple had reached irreconcilable differences and were separating. Pitt had been linked to romantic ties with Jolie for months before the separation. The rumors of a romance between Pitt and Jolie started while the two movie stars were filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, though the two denied the rumors.

While Aniston, who celebrates her 42nd birthday today, Heidi Montag has apologized to Aniston for a recent misunderstanding involving what appeared to be a red-carpet snub by Aniston.

Montag claimed that she was banned by Aniston from attending the red-carpet premiere of Just Go With It, in which Montag and Aniston both appear. Montag told reporters that she was told Aniston believed Montag is "too polarizing" to be associated with the New York premiere this week.

"I'm so upset," Montag said. "I was so excited! This is the first movie I've ever been in and I can't walk the red carpet because Jennifer Aniston decided I was 'too polarizing'."

In Us Weekly Montag continued to speak out about how Aniston kept her from attending the premier and suggested that Aniston be more aware of how hard it is to make it in the business. "She should know how hard it is to make a career for yourself and to have someone like Jennifer Aniston go out of her way to make things hard for me is really disheartening."

The allegation of banning Montag from the event was rejected by a representative for Aniston, who said she had nothing to do with who was invited to the premiere event. Montag has since changed her tune, saying "It never really made sense to me because Jennifer is such a sweetheart and she even commented before on a red carpet about how interesting and fun it was to have me in the movie."

Montag said that she did receive her invite for the premiere but had other plans that prevented her form showing up. "I got my invite and I would have loved to be there, but I had to be in Los Angeles with my dogs," Montag explained. "I was honored to be a part of such a great movie and I apologize to Jennifer and Sony for this big misunderstanding."
