Fantastically Fresh Garden to Table Recipes on ABC's “The Chew”
March 20 marked the beginning of spring as well as the Persian New Year. As spring starts, people begin to think of planting gardens. There will be more sun and rain so all types of plants can thrive. Flower gardens bring a burst of color and fragrance to your home. Vegetable and herb gardens bring an array of flavors to your kitchen. Today on ABC's “The Chew” the crew is preparing a few fresh garden to table recipes to get fans enthused about gardening and the local farmers markets. Yesterday Michael Symon offered some great gardening tips to viewers.
Planning ahead is important when you want to have a garden. Choosing the seeds to plant and starting seedlings is the first step. You also need to plot a spot in your yard or buy container if you decide to use limited space for your vegetable and herb garden. Now fans can also have an array of mouthwatering recipes at their fingertips to help them decide what to grow. “The Chew” is sure to get people excited about using fresh produce in their spring and summer dishes.
Unfortunately, spring weather has not hit many areas in the country. While yesterday marked the first day of spring, the weather did not necessarily follow along. Many of the show's Facebook fans said the weather was still cold and wintry. Some areas are still facing snow and freezing conditions. One Facebook fan commented, “I am done with winter. It may be snowing but I refuse to where a winter coat anymore and I am ready to plan my garden.” It is the time of year when people can't wait for spring to get here. Viewers can get a healthy dose of spring thinking today on “The Chew.”
