This is an eggs-citing opportunity for egg lovers from around the country. There are a few key qualities they are looking for in the Eggland's Best Eggs Chief Egg Officer Search Contest. Some Rules for Entering the EB Contest
While the entry period of the contest ends on July 31, 2013 at 11:59 PM, the “Chief Egg Officer Search” Contest extends through November 12, 2013. The contest is open to legal residents of the United States, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older. Entrants much complete and submit the official entry form and answer 4 questions. The answers to each question cannot exceed 100 words. There is a limit of 1 entry per person and per e-mail address for the entry period. Entries must be in English and become the property of the sponsor. No purchase is required to enter the contest.
It makes sense to note entries cannot be profane, offense, sexually explicit, etc. As mom used to remind us, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Race, religion and sex as well as marital and family status should not be part of the entry. Semi-finalists will be contacted or about August 12, 2013. Entries plus a photo will be submitted for online voting between September 9, 2013 and September 30, 2013. The finalists are contacted on or about October 1, 2013 to submit a video by 11:59 ET on October 20, 2013 to express why they are the best candidate for “Chief Egg Officer.” Another vote is conducted online and the person with the highest score becomes the Grand Prize winner.
