The HGTV Dream Home 2013 is carefully designed to exist in harmony with the environment. It still maintains a contemporary feeling with a “Low Country Zen” architectural style. The beautiful 3,000 square-foot home has three bedrooms.
Beyond the bedrooms, the home has a large gourmet kitchen with an adjacent pantry and laundry room for outstanding convenience. There is also a double-height great room with a multi-purpose loft space overlooking it. The central dining area is an ideal place to entertain.
The HGTV Dream Home 2013 has two stories. It is built on pilings to elevate the main level 12 feet above the ground. The unique architectural elements include heavy timber supports with custom steel connections and solid beam trusses.

The HGTV Green Home 2012 features a LEED Certified home in Serenbe in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia outside Atlanta. The lucky winner of the HGTV Green Home 2012 wins the custom-built house along with $100,000 and a 2012 GMC Terrain.
Fans can enter the HGTV Green Home 2012 Giveaway online twice each day with entries accepted through June 1, 2012 at 5 pm ET. One entry is completed at HGTV.com and the other at HGTVRemodels.com.
