Sit n' Stay Global on HGTV “Posh Pets: Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry”

HGTV fans with fur babies are looking forward to the premiere of “Posh Pets: Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry” with Beth Stern on Friday, June 22 at 9:00 pm ET/PT. The special show will feature a segment with Carol Martin, Top Dog of Sit n' Stay Global. HGTV went to Long Beach Airport to find out more about pets flying on private aircraft.

The segment follows a Shepherd Doodle named RJ aboard his owner's GIII. RJ enjoys posh in-flight service from Sit n' Stay Global. Before RJ is secured in his seat belt harness, there is a complete pet safety briefing. Then the pets and their humans kick back for healthy gourmet treats, pet games and doggie massages.

According to Martin, RJ was a great model for HGTV's “Posh Pets: Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry.” In a press release, Martin said, “At Sit n' Stay, we believe in treating our pet passengers just like family and he really got into the act – at one point even sticking his face right into the pet oxygen mask.”

Martin revealed there is a serious side to their pet service. They stress the pre-flight briefing to ensure pets on board are given the same safety considerations as the humans accompanying them. The pets are secured to the aircraft with a seat belt safety harness. There are special pet oxygen masks as well as flotation devices for furry ones on board. Once this ground is covered, Martin said, “After that, it's just about having fun and keeping the pet occupied.”

Another benefit offered by Sit n' Stay Global is a staff of well-trained flight attendants who love pets. The flight attendants are specially trained to know CPR for animals and pet first aid. It is the only company with safety protocols established for pets. They have considered everything from turbulence to ditching. The goal is to keep pets as safe as possible.

Posh pets across the country get the royal treatment from Sit n' Stay with flight attendants on both coasts. They are also available globally. Furry jet setters and their humans feel reassured knowing they will be safe from harm and have a good time during travel excursions.

Sit n' Stay Global caters to pet parents who value their furry family members getting total care and comfort. The flight attendants provide FURst Class Service with catered meals and every measure to keep fur babies safe. There is a Pet Nanny Service if pet parents are busy working or touring their chosen destination. Sit n' Stay Global also acts as a personal concierge so pet parents can end an active day away relaxing with their furry family member in privacy.

If a furry family member chooses to forgo the family vacation, Sit n' Stay Global also visits their home to provide care services. While pet parents escape on their own, everything continues to run smoothly. There is no stress for pet lovers when they return because their fur babies have been pampered while they were gone. Sit n' Stay Global has a home base in Southern California with satellites in Dallas, Seattle, Philadelphia and Montrose/Telluride CO.

Posh Pets Get Even More

Getting to an exotic destination is just part of the pleasure for pets shown on HGTV's “Posh Pets: Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry.” There will also be segments on a resort just for dogs as well as luxurious accommodations at a hotel catering to upscale pet lovers.

As the host of the show, Beth Ostrosky Stern will introduce viewers to the darling pets of her fellow HGTV stars including Sabrina Soto with her labradoodle Harper as well as Antonio Ballatore with his bulldog Chewie. Anita Mecadon, DIY network host, also shows HGTV fans how to build a luxurious dog house on a budget.

Besides cavorting with HGTV pet lovers, Stern will introduce HGTV fans to some of the most pampered pets across the country on "Posh Pets: Lifestyles of the Rich and Furry." Fans will see a debutant ball for a rescued Chihuahua, a glamorous cat photo shoot and a sunset dinner date for romantic pet owners. There is even a spa that specializes in doggie yoga, referred to as “doga.”

Below is a video of Beth Ostrosky Stern, wife of Howard Stern, on the “Today” show with Matt Lauer. She appears with her posh pet Bianca and discusses her book “Oh My Dog.” Stern is also the spokesperson for the North Shore Animal League, the largest no-kill animal rescue shelter in the world.

With the country barely out of economic crisis, I can't believe that HGTV would put such a show on tv. These pets live so much better than most of our people in the country. What is wrong with you. Shame on you for thinking this was a good idea.
