Nothing is easier or more delicious than serving breakfast for dinner and today ABC's “The Chew” is proving it. They are celebrating the 50th anniversary of General Hospital with Genie Francis in the kitchen. Regina King is also on the show and they are taking a tasty trip to Buttermilk Kitchen in Atlanta.
Breakfast for Dinner is Good on ABC's “The Chew”
There's no need to stop for expensive fast food or eat pre-packaged cuisine when you can serve breakfast for dinner. It is a fast and delicious way to eat right at night without all the work. Today ABC's “The Chew” showed fans how to feast on breakfast anytime of the day. Eggs are one of the most nutritious and versatile foods to eat. Add yummy favorites such as corned beef hash, bacon and rolls for a well-rounded meal. Toss broccoli and cheese into your omelette.
Clinton's Kelly's Ranch Style Rice with Fried Eggs is a hearty recipes that sounds perfect for brunch or a late evening meal. Mario Prosciutto and Potato Frittata is sure to satisfy the biggest appetites and most discerning palates. The lovely Genie Francis joined Mario in the kitchen. The show was also celebrating the 50th anniversary of ABC's iconic soap opera “General Hospital.” Many people remember rushing home from school to watch the love affair of the 80s, Luke and Laura, on “General Hospital.”
Regina King was also on “The Chew” today. The show went for a visit to the famed Buttermilk Kitchen in Atlanta. Fans can make Buttermilk Kitchen's Dad Waffle. This sourdough waffle with a burger is a mouthwatering choice. Steak and eggs as well as burgers and eggs are another egg-cellent way to have breakfast fare for dinner.
A Hairy Situation on ABC's “The Chew”
On the Facebook page for “The Chew,” fans were commenting about the women wearing their hair out while they cook. One fan commented, “I loved the Chew but I can't handle all the hair over the food! My opinion and I'm sticking to it.” Another fan said, “Daphne really needs to put her hair back when she cooks or assists. I hate seeing her beautiful hair hanging down so close to the food prep.” Another felt, “I agree I always have my hair up when I'm cooking, that's just so nasty to me the ladies don't have their hair up.” What do you think? Do you wear your hair up when you cook in the kitchen? I know people are required to do it in restaurants but I usually don't put my hair up when I cook.
This week “The Chew” will be airing favorite episodes such as the one shown today. The crew works hard five days a week to serve some of the most sensational recipes and idea to their fans. They are taking a spring break but viewers can look forward to new episodes of “The Chew” starting on Monday, April 8. In the meantime, everyone can tune in to see a few great shows they might have missed.
