The pseudo-reality series airs at 10 p.m. EST time and everyone can finally see what it will be like for the Jersey Shore people to party in Italy. Snooki already reportedly had a fender bender in Italy, showcasing her driving skills (or lack thereof) overseas. Snooki hit into the back of a police car assigned to act as an escort for the Jersey Shore crew.
According to the Washington Post, Florence Mayro Matteo Renzi purportedly set guidelines for the Italian-American stars. Apparently there were bans on filming in bars that serve alcohol and public drinking. Despite the rules, rumors are flying about drunken fights and the usual debauchery the Jersey Shore crew is known for. The fourth season promises to be as hot and action-packed as ever, with plenty of fun and tension.
As fans anxiously await the airing of Jersey Shore in Italy tonight, Fox News revealed the reason for the reality stars' unforgettable nicknames. Nicole Polizzi was dubbed “Snooki” by her friends after watching the 2001 teen flick, “Save the Last Dance.” Recently Snooki revealed she wishes she could change it as she misses her name “Nicole.”
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino said he got his nickname because his “abs are so ripped up it's called 'the situation.'” Paul DelVecchio's nickname was easy to figure out since he's a DJ and his last name starts with 'D.' Having an unusual nickname is part of each crew member's appeal.
For those with a bit of time on their hands before the Jersey Shore Italy premiere tonight, there is a website that generates guido and guidette nicknames for everyone.
