Before the holidays on ABC's "Don't Trust the B in Apt 23," June was happy to land her dream job at a financial mortgage company. On her first day of work, she believes her new co-worker is going to be one of her best friends. It turns out Fox Paris is her nemesis and wants to take June down in any possible way. ABC's"Don't Trust the B in Apt. 23" now airs new episodes twice a week, once on Sunday evenings after the hit series "Revenge" and then on Tuesdays nights.
June's First Day at Harken Financial
June is pleased to leave her barista job behind to start a shiny new position at Harken Financial. On her first day, she believes she met a wonderful girl who will be her friend. Fox Paris even tells June where to hide leftovers in the refrigerator. When June gushes about her to Chloe, her roommate realizes the girl is really her nemesis. June does not believe Chloe at this point. Fox Paris invites June out to drinks and winds up spreading nasty gossip that causes friction with June's new co-workers. After playing several practical jokes, Fox lets June know she is her nemesis. June tries to bring her cupcakes and do nice things to no avail. Fox keeps making June look bad in front of her boss and co-workers. Fox even steals June's credit card info when they were having drinks and orders a load of headbands in her name.
Chloe Tries to Help
Completely upset, June lets Chloe know she was right about Fox being her nemesis. Chloe offered to help several times but June refused to let her. Finally Chloe uses a fake name to make an appointment with June. She tries to confront Fox but winds up becoming her friend. June returns home to find Chloe and Fox having drinks and mocking her. Fox wears one of her outfits and mimics June. On her way out of the apartment, Fox tells June she will steal everything in her life. June realizes her nemesis wants her job, friends, clothes and apartment.
Things Get Nasty
Fox believes she has June right within her crushing zone. June decides to focus on work and winds up late to the boss' birthday celebration. Fox tells the boss June is purposefully late and did not want to contribute toward his gift, which are some of the headbands. Fox then orders June to cut the fifty pieces of cake. June refused to cut the cake and lets the boss know his gift is really headbands. The girls scuffle as June holds the knife and tries to give it to Fox to cut the cake herself. Fox accidentally falls backward into the knife. Everyone believes June stabbed Fox deliberately since the knife cut right into her Flintstones tattoo. Fox convinces herself June is a tough girl from Queens and vows to stay out of her way.
Another Co-Worker Misses June
While she might have faced trouble at her new job, Mark missed June and turns to James to get help. He wants to know how he can share his feelings with June. James offers an unconventional solution to help Mark reach his inner emotions that involves wearing their underwear. Mark gets a card from everyone at the coffee shop to let June know she is missed. When she stops by, Mark can't wait to hear about her adventures and finally knows what to write in the card. June and Mark sit down to discuss what happened at Harken Financial and the latest events at the coffee shop.
TAKE HOME MOMENTS: June remained hard-working and positive throughout the conflict with Fox. An accident make her look like a different person but proves fate takes over without plotting for revenge. Fox was careless and wound up hurting herself in her quest to bring June down. Feelings can be hard to express but the best love relationships often start as close friendships.
