Fans are pleased to see the entire crew of ABC's “The Chew” are sharing their favorite classic Christmas dishes today. It is also Extra Value Friday so there are sure to be some great tips for affordable holiday meals. Singer Katherine Jenkins is also joining in on the fun and savings.

Today the lovely Katherine Jenkins is joining “The Chew” for some holiday cheer. She is a classical-crossover singer with a mezzo-soprano voice. Katherine performs popular songs, hymns, operatic arias and musical theater. It will be interesting to see what she cooks up in the kitchen with the crew for the holiday season.
Katherine won singing competitions in her youth and studied at the Royal Academy of Music. She was also a model and taught voice lessons. In 2003, she captured the public's attention when she sang in honor of Pope John Paul II's silver jubilee at the Westminster Cathedral. America knows her from the television show “Dancing with the Stars.” Katherine finished in second place behind Donald Drive, the NFL Super Bowl Champion.
Fans are wondering if they will get to hear Katherine sing as well as see her cook on “The Chew.” She recently released a new holiday record, “Katherine Jenkins This is Christmas.” She is promoting the holiday record in New York. Katherine also appeared on the “Rachael Ray Show,” “Good Morning America” and “Good Day New York.” She sings familiar favorites such as “Away in a Manger.” Everyone in the audience received a copy of her album today, what a lucky bunch! Katherine's appearance is sure to add to the holiday spirit as they make classic Christmas dishes.
Classic Christmas Dishes on a Dime on “The Chew”
Nothing is more delicious than classic Christmas dishes on “The Chew.” The entire crew is on deck today and ready to share their favorite Christmas classics. One Facebook fan commented, “So happy the whole gang is there again!” They are even going to offer a recipe for holiday fruitcake that is unlikely to get passed from family to family.
It is also Extra Value Friday, a time when the show offers yummy recipes that can be made on a budget. Viewers look forward to finding out what they can make for the holidays without breaking the bank. Another fan said, “I didn't think it was possible but you guys just keep getting better and better...love the show!” Michael is making a rib eye steak in a pan as the Dish of the Day and it looks great.
It does seem they are getting better everyday. Their suggestions for Thanksgiving helped make the feast day even more wonderful. Now they are serving up Christmas ideas that are sure to impress your guests. They show also revealed 49 percent of people serve turkey on Christmas and 32 percent serve ham, despite the fact ham seems to be associated with this day.
