Two Stars Visit ABC's “The Chew”
All kinds of celebrities visit ABC's “The Chew” for food, fun and laughter. Earlier this week Katherine Heigl appeared on the show to make the perfect pie. Today two more beautiful actresses will be heating up the kitchen on the popular afternoon lifestyle television show. One of them appears in the soap opera that airs on ABC right after “The Chew.” The other is known for her roles in major television shows and movies.
Genie Francis from ABC's “General Hospital” will be on the show. She is ready to show fans some of the best ways to enjoy breakfast foods for dinner. Everyone knows Genie for her portrayal of Laura Spencer on “General Hospital.” Many of us remember the romantic days of Luke and Laura on this timeless soap opera. Genie also played Genevieve Atkinson on the CBS soap opera, “The Young and the Restless.” She also appeared on “Day of Our Lives” and “All My Children.” Genie Francis is married to actor/director Jonathan Frakes and they have two children. As a wife and mother, it is likely she has served breakfast for dinner in her own home.
Actress Regina King will also be joining “The Chew” crew today. Currently she appears in the television series, “Southland.” Regina is well-known for her role as Brenda Jenkins in the 1980's sitcom “227.” She also played a support role in the film “Jerry Maguire.” Regina is also a mother and sure to know about having breakfast for dinner. It will be fun to see what these two pretty actresses cook on “The Chew.”

Extra Value Friday on “The Chew” gives fans affordable menu ideas for the weekend ahead. Everyone is trying to get the most for their hard-earned money. The crew shows viewers how to eat well without spending more than they should. Today they are sharing recipes to make breakfast for dinner, an affordable way to have a well-balanced meal. This dishes can also be served for breakfast or brunch over the weekend.
On their Facebook page they asked fans about their favorite breakfast for dinner. One fan said, “A toasted western made with eggs, bacon, green onions or fresh chives and hot sauce; with a side of home fries. MMMMM.” Other fans mentioned eggs and pancakes. Steak and eggs or ham steak and egg are more tasty breakfast for dinner dishes. Making breakfast for dinner is fast, easy and budget-conscious. HULIQ will return with more later.
