The children of Hollywood stars are getting romantic right before Halloween. On Saturday afternoon, actress Eva Amurri and MLS soccer player Kyle Martino tied the knot in Charleston, South Carolina. Eva Amurri is the daughter of actress and activist Susan Sarandon and Italian director Franco Amurri.
The marriage ceremony was hosted by Sarandon and Tim Robbins, who had a 21 year relationship with the bride's mother and helped to raise Eva. A rep for Eva Amurri confirmed the nuptials to PEOPLE. The marriage included a weekend of fun including an oyster roast, scavenger hunt and cocktail party.
Officiating the wedding ceremony was Sister Helen Prejean. The movie Dead Man Walking was made about her and starred Susan Sarandon. For her 1995 performance in the movie, Sarandon won an Academy Award for Best Actress. Sarandon is also famous for the cult movie musical, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The Village Voice reports activist Sarandon recently appeared at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations in NYC.
Amurri and Martino got engaged in December and tied the knot in South Carolina because the groom's parents reside there. Amurri wore a fabulous dress by designer Lela Rose and said, “I tried it on and it was all over.” Sarandon and the bridesmaids also wore dresses designed by Lela Rose. The groom donned a Brioni tux. Everyone toasted the happy couple with Perrior Jouet champagne.
Another Hollywood kid is also considering tying the knot. Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of the late singer Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and Courtney Love of the band Hole, is engaged. The NY Daily News reports Frances Bean Cobain is engaged to Isaiah Silva, the singer from The Rambles. The duo has been dating for one year.
According to a close friend of Frances Bean Cobain, “Yes she's engaged and they moved in together in a big house near Runyon Canyon. They are so happy!”
The couple used Facebook aliases to hint of their engagement. Frances Bean Cobain posted under the name Frances Rachel Leigh Cook, “Getting to spend the rest of my life loving my best friend makes me the luckiest woman in the world.” Isaiah Silvia posted under the name Isaiah David Berkowitz-Cusack that Cobain was his “ fiancé.”
For awhile, Frances Bean Cobain worked as an intern for Rolling Stone magazine. Recently she inherited a huge fortune from the estate of her late father, Kurt Cobain. Reportedly, Frances Bean Cobain used $1.8 million to purchase a near Runyon Canyon in L.A.
