
Kodak Announces North American Orders for Medical Digital Image and Information Management Systems
Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group announced it recently signed contracts for its KODAK CARESTREAM PACS and KODAK CARESTREAM RIS Solutions with leading North American healthcare facilities including The Memorial Hospital of Salem County (Salem, N.J.) and Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital (Carleton Place, Ontario).
Some facilities also purchased KODAK computed radiography (CR) systems for digital capture of medical x-ray exams and KODAK Business Diagnostics to help their facilities apply proven lean-thinking methodologies that can deliver improved productivity, dramatic revenue gains and reduced waste.
The following healthcare providers are among those that have placed orders for CARESTREAM image and information management solutions:
- Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital (Carleton Place, Ontario) ordered a CARESTREAM PACS and one KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 975 System.
- Clinique Pierrefonds (Montreal, Canada) purchased a CARESTREAM RIS, CARESTREAM PACS and two KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 850 Systems.
- Colorado Springs Health Partners (Colorado Springs, Colo.) ordered a CARESTREAM RIS and KODAK Business Diagnostics.
- Knoxville Hospitals & Clinics (Knoxville, Iowa) ordered a CARESTREAM PACS and KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 825 and 850 Systems.
- Montclair Radiology (Montclair, N.J.) ordered a CARESTREAM RIS and KODAK Business Diagnostics.
- Radiology Services of N.Y. (Staten Island, N.Y.) purchased a CARESTREAM PACS and CARESTREAM RIS.
- The Memorial Hospital of Salem County (Salem, N.J.) ordered a CARESTREAM PACS.
