And don't forget: During Theatre Cares Week the Georgia Straight presents "Coward at the Cathedral"Â, a Gala Theatrical Reading of Noel Coward's hilarious comedy HAY FEVER, February 16th at Christ Church Cathedral. Directed by Dean Paul Gibson, the evening features musical accompaniment by Maestro Bramwell Tovey, Music Director of the Vancouver Symphony, and performers include Patti Allan & Christopher Gaze as Judith and David Bliss. This event also stars our annual Theatre Cares Silent Auction. All proceeds to benefit the Actors' Fund of Canada, AIDS Vancouver, BC Persons with AIDS Society and the Positive Women's Network.
Over the last five years, Theatre Cares Vancouver has raised over $150,000 for charity, which has been donated to organizations including Camp Moomba, the Coast Foundation, PAL Vancouver, PEERS Vancouver, and Triage.
