Datamatics Technologies Acquires BPO Company

The media had reports on February 13, 2007 that Datamatics Technologies Limited is close to acquiring a US based BPO company.

The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.

Datamatics Technologies Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "The Company denies that it is close to acquiring a US based BPO Company. We continuously evaluate Companies for acquisition purpose both in India and abroad. Infact, it is one of the objectives for which IPO funds are to be utilized." -- www.nseindia.com
