Taiga Announces President's Retirement

Taiga Building Products Ltd. announces the retirement of Bill Kushlick, President and Chief Operating Officer, effective March 1st, 2007. Bill has made substantial contributions to Taiga's organic growth strategy and we wish him well as he enjoys his retirement.

Concurrently, the Board of Directors promoted the Company Vice-President, Jimmie Bradshaw as the successor President and COO and expresses its full confidence in Jim's abilities. Jim is a well known industry executive and has been with Taiga for over 30 years.

Taiga Building Products Ltd. is also pleased to announce the appointments of Doug Morris to the position of the Executive Vice President of Major Accounts and Supply Management, Cam White to the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Operations and Tom Stefan to the position of Vice President, Finance and Administration.
