Iran's Revolutionary Guard today began three days of military exercises planned for 16 of the country's 30 provinces.
The official IRNA news agency says the war games -- code-named Eqtedar (Power Maneuver) -- began with the firing of short-, medium-, and long-range missiles.
The exercises come at a time of mounting tension with the United States over Iran's nuclear program and allegations that Tehran is arming militants in Iraq.
