Art Of Shopping Returns To Palm Springs Museum

On Monday, March 5, 2007 discerning shoppers will delight in the special day-long event Art of Shopping at the Palm Springs Art Museum. The event begins at 10 a.m. in the Art Museum and features an exclusive chance to purchase exquisite wares from more than 30 top-notch artists and designers from all over the country.

Treasures include handmade art-to-wear clothing, jewelry, handbags and purses, glass, ceramic and textile items and unique pieces of home décor. The day will include a gourmet coffee bar to enjoy while shopping, exciting raffle prizes, a grand prize drawing for a shopping spree, and a sumptuous luncheon. Tickets are $100. The Art of Shopping is held on alternating years by the Museum Associates Council (MAC) of the Palm Springs Art Museum. MAC is one of eight support councils of the Art Museum.
