Gladys Knight Returns To Walters Museum

For the first time in more than six years, Gladys Knight is returning to Baltimore for a Walters Art Museum benefit concert on Saturday, March 10 at The Lyric Opera House. The seven-time Grammy award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member will perform a selection of her R&B, soul and gospel classics as well as selections from her just released CD, Before Me, a set of jazz ballads and standards featuring Ms. Knight's smooth, sultry voice. She will be accompanied by a 16-piece band.

Proceeds from the concert benefit the Walters Art Museum, helping to make the experience of great art available to everyone in our community. The earnings from the fundraiser contribute to the Brown Challenge Art Fund created to provide funds for the purchase of African American art for the Walters' permanent collection.

Admission is Starting at $50; VIP tickets at $250 (limited quantity). Tickets may be purchased at the Lyric Box Office or through Ticketmaster.com.
