Flint Energy Announces CFO Appointment

W. J. (Bill) Lingard, President and Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors of Flint Energy Services Ltd. ("Flint") are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul M. Boechler as the company's Chief Financial Officer, effective March 14, 2007. Mr. Boechler will succeed Mr. Terry Freeman, the current CFO, who will retire from this current role on this date but will be appointed to the company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Boechler is currently the President of Flint Energy Services Inc., the company's United States division. He has held this position for the past three years leading the operation through a period of strong growth and improving financial results. Mr. Boechler began his career with Flint as Vice President of Finance after Flint's acquisition of IPEC Ltd. in November 2001. Prior to joining Flint, Paul was the CFO of IPEC Ltd., a position he held since 1999. He also spent 15 years in the exploration and production side of the resource industry in various senior financial management positions. Paul has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and is a Chartered Accountant.

Mr. Freeman will continue to assist the company through a transition period, providing strategic guidance and assisting in setting the future direction of the company. He is a recent graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Directors' Education Program.
