Monday night, The Bachelor Ben Flajik lands in Panama with his remaining girls only to waste a lot of precious travel experience time due to an overload of drama among this motley crew who are taking in this Central American hot spot.
So let's get to it.
One of the most agonizing moments ever is rumored to happen at the end of the show, as teased on the episode 6, season 16 promo that aired at the end of episode 5. It seems one of the contestants was beckoned by Chris Harrison to have a confab that had Casey Schteamer in tears.
Did someone die? Did Casey S. have some medical tests results come back saving she has a serious disease?
Probably not. After all, this is The Bachelor, and tragedies are left to situations that really worth crying about by regular folks who don't appear on TV to find a mate.
Anyway, according to Reality Steve, Casey S. is called out because she has a boyfriend back home. You may remember that this particular contestant is the only person who actually"likes" the dreaded Courtney -- well, besides Ben. One has to wonder why a sane person would ever bond with someone so crazy. Perhaps this is why.
In any case, Steve has a source who claims that the boyfriend is called Michael Patak, and that since it is against Bachelor rules to be dating anyone other than The Bachelor, Casey S. must tell Ben Flajik about the situation and is immediately ousted.
Or not.
Rumors abound that Michael Patak was a person who Casey S., who hails from Chicago, met while working on The Bachelor. However, at this point that information is neither confirmed nor denied.
In other Bachelor 2012 news as the curious clans sets down in Panama City, Panama, Kacie Boguskie gets her second 1-on1 date with Ben as the pair view their latest destination up in the air by means of a helicopter.
And then guess what happens? Right. Ben and Kacie end up on a deserted island (which, actually can't be totally deserted because the scene is being taped) where these two get to know each other better. Back on the mainland, they break bread, during which time Kacie B allegedly tells Ben about a bad life experience she had to endure. After this heart-to-heart, all signs point to this bachelorette getting the coveted safety rose.
Another date, this one with six women to one Ben, takes place on the banks of the Chagres River where Courtney gets randy--again. Oh, and obnoxious, but that's goes without saying.
The girls just want to have fun, and Bachelor Ben is game, taking these half dozen prospects on a high speed boat ride and ziplining through the jungle.
Their ultimate destination? A small village where the locals (Emberas) welcome the visitors. It is here that all everyone dresses in tribal garb, with Courtney Roberston deciding to go "bikini-less" beneath the the traditional beaded top she has been wearing. Needless to say, this does not sit well with the others while Courtney once again flaunts her body as she did last week during The Bachelor skinny dipping incident. At least that's the dirt on this sassy contestant, a big bone of contention around the water cooler as spoilers galore are spilling out of almost every entertainment site on the Internet.
After this fiasco that could have been oh-so-much fun for the consummate traveler, the group of 7 take off to the Trump Ocean Club. It's there that Courtney keeps up her pushy ways with Ben, who may or may not be catching on to what this apparent vixen is all about. Sources say she stays around, as all good Bachelor followers have already been told, so what happens next is probably more of the same from the least liked girl in the gang.
As for The Bachelor tradition of having a 2-on1 date, during which time Ben Flajik is forced to get rid of one girl while keeping the other, well that's a surprise too. Ever so brazen Blakeley is paired with Rachel to go out simultaneously with their suitor.
But things don't end up as one might think after trio go salsa dancing. Even though Rachel is not confident she will get the rose, rumblings around the ether and from Reality Steven says she does.
And so there you have (some of) it (for more overall Bachelor season 16 spoilers, check in here).
Whether all this comes down on The Bachelor on Monday, February 6, 2012 is not for sure until Ben Flajik sings. Well, until Ben Flajik hands out the roses. And that is what it will take for the remaining contestants and this winemaker from Northern California to head out to Belize for next week's show. Tune in and find out what really happens at 8 p.m., ET on ABC.
