The veteran singer and former Disney princess was all about Team Roshon as her favorite dancer did his first dance which was a hot cha-cha. Spears was there with fiancé Jason Trawick, who is apparently friends with Fegan.
In fact, Britney tweeted about her Monday evening's activity, saying, "Just went to Dancing with the Stars to support Jason's friend Roshon Fegan. He is so cute! And wow can that boy dance!"
Apparently, the Baby One More Time singer isn't the only one to have enjoyed the way Roshon and Chelsie hit the floor boards. Regan's Shake It Up castmates Bella Thorne and Zendaya were also on hand in the audience to cheer on their colleague.
Happily Roshon didn't disappoint even the harshest of critics: The judges.
After delivering a raucous rendition of the this classic Latin dance that was definitely hip-hop inspired, these DWTS arbiters weighed in.
Bruno Tonioli was impressed by how Roshon Fegan seemed to be indefatigable, saying that the execution of Chelsie Hightower's choreography was "razor sharp. " He was thrilled by how the Camp Rock star was able to keep "cutting that beat" and called the dance "unbelievable."
Meanwhile, Len Goodman showed love for the performance although he wasn't all that thrilled by the insertion of the hip-hop moves, which is to be expected from this ballroom stickler who likes to see each ballroom performance as dance in its purest form.
As for Carrie Ann Inaba, she praised Roshon and Chelsie's cha-cha, saying the number was the "coolest" she's seen in all 14 seasons the ABC reality show has aired.
And to back up these superlatives, the scores from these judges were high, especially for a premiere program of this nature, with this very popular pair who lured Britney Spears to the studio receiving a whopping 23 points out of 30.
Meanwhile, the entire Dancing with the Stars crowd went into a frenzy when hunky William Levy hit the floor for his cha-cha with Cheryl Burke.
This Cuban-born soap actor seemed to make every single person watching swoon as he delivered a strong performance. In fact, he earned one point higher than Roshon with a 24 out of 30. And he also heard a lot more screaming than was offered to his younger cohort, but from a different demographic than the one who will be watching and hoping for Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower to ultimately win Dancing with the Stars.
That said, it's far too early in the season to know how the rest of the dances will go and whether or not Britney Spears will reappear in the audience again as DWTS progresses. The jive is up next week and something says that both the guy who is into hip-hop and the guy who is known as the Latin Brad Pitt may just pull off special renditions of this particular ballroom staple.
