In fact, Friday's GMA appearance of the Monte Carlo star had inquiring ABC minds wanting to know yet again whether or not these teen heart throbs who heart each other will ever work together as well as play together.
Selena Gomez doesn't rule out a Justin Bieber collaboration. With specific regard to the two doing a duet of the musical kind in the future, the Disney princess--who is growing up fast--said to Good Morning America, "I'm not sure. Whenever I do songs I kind of do it organically. So, if it happens, it happens."
Talk about straying away from the question while still giving an somewhat relevant answer. Still, Selena Gomez is blunt about one thing: The negativity she often gets from Justin Bieber fans regarding her on-going relationship with the singing sensation from Canada.
Gomez told GMA, "I can't shut out all of it." And then Selena admitted she is "human so I read it."
During this probing interview that was supposed to be about promoting her newest single--called Love You Like a Love Song--and her upcoming movie--Monte Carlo, appearing in theaters starting July 1--this nard-working talent also talked about life in general. Selena said she "spent the first like three years [of her career] hiding and terrified of things...so I'm kind of enjoying being young and just having fun and focusing on my fans and my music."
A mixed message? A gratuitous remark? Who knows the real meaning of the words that come from the mouths of babes, especially this one who is scrutinized any time she is ever in public these days. At least she carries on all this chatting in style. In fact, all this Selena Gomez diatribe was done on the morning show while the actress / singer spoke through a sparkly mic sporting her name in the color pink.
And no doubt, Selena Gomez is once again in the pink after suffering another health scare following a recent appearance with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show. Even then, even when she was feeling so lousy that she had to be taken to the hospital for malnourishment and sheer exhaustion, this girlfriend skirted questions about boyfriend Justin Bieber.
But that's the way the celebrity game goes.
So the 18-year-old Selena Gomez and her 17-year-old beau Justin Bieber do what they have to do in order to be together. Or so it seems. Their tactics have worked so far as these two have been an item for about 6 months, a long time for kids that age and a lifetime in Hollywood when the subjects are two stars just finding their way through the bright lights of Tinseltown.
