The media had reports that Himachal Futuristic Communication Ltd may sell its 74% stake in Hindustan Teleprinters Ltd.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Himachal Futuristic Communication Ltd has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "In this connection we would like to inform you that the captioned news item is inaccurate and is based on purely speculative information. We would like to clarify that no mandate has been given for sale of any stake of any percentage in HTL Ltd. by the Board of Himachal Futuristic Communications Ltd." -- www.nseindia.com
