Nortel is outlining its vision for the transformed enterprise based on a future of unified communications to senior executives within its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) reseller and distributor partner community at its annual PartnerForum event in Lisbon this week.
Over the course of the event, Nortel's EMEA leadership team will give attendees an overview of the Company's portfolio, investments and strategies and discuss how they support the transformation of the enterprise as one of the fundamental pillars in the Company's strategic plan. Nortel's transformation highlights the elimination of the traditional boundaries between enterprise and carrier networks.
The event focuses on how Nortel and its partners can move forwards together and go beyond previous achievements by setting bold goals and challenging traditional ways of thinking. Announced at a gala dinner, its annual Partner Awards recognise partner excellence and loyalty across EMEA.
"Nortel's partner community is fundamental to our success and these awards are a great way to demonstrate Nortel's appreciation of the contribution made by partners," said Peter Kelly, president Enterprise, EMEA. "The theme of Nortel's PartnerForum this year is 'going beyond' and the awards are given to those who have done just that. Our partners are committed to coming on a transformational journey with Nortel and have pushed the boundaries to exceed customers' expectations and simplify their business."
