Donkey Kong has captured the unfortunate Pauline, and is holding her captive in Mario's newly-opened theme park, Super Mini Mario World. It's up to you to help our hero by guiding his marching army of Mini Marios safely through the trap-filled terrain to finally confront the villainous Donkey Kong and rescue the girl.

Using the stylus you manoeuvre your Mini Marios through the devilishly-designed levels, trying to get as many of them to the exit as you can. A flick of your stylus on a Mini Mario will get him moving, while a quick tap will bring him to a halt. But the road to safety is littered with mechanical traps and treacherous pathways that will take some clever planning to be successfully navigated!

It helps to scan the level before you start and work out the best strategy to get through it. Apart from making it to the exit, the real challenge lies in picking up bonuses along the way and getting all your Minis to safety like a pro. Can you guide the Mini Marios through the level without having to stop them once? Achieve that and you get a special "Non-Stop Victory" bonus, and perhaps even a gold medal as your reward.

But even if you unlock all 80 of the game's wild and varied levels, that is only the beginning. Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 adds a new dimension to the fun, by allowing you to create your own levels and share them with other players using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

The further you play into the main adventure, the more construction sets you unlock for building your own masterpiece. You get to choose where you want to put all the traps and enemies you encounter in the game, so unleash your inner puzzle fiend and get players around the world scratching their heads and admiring (or cursing!) your handiwork!

There's literally no end to the combinations of traps and tricks you can devise, and this huge scope for new challenges means this is a game that will always have you coming back for more - Nintendo.
