Xtierra Drills At Bilbao Project

Xtierra Inc. (TSXV - XAG), is pleased to announce results of a 4,138 metre in-fill diamond drilling programme at its 100% owned Bilbao silver-zinc-lead-copper project, in Zacatecas, Mexico.

The 15 hole programme has confirmed the nature and extent of the Bilbao deposit and the earlier resource estimate with greater confidence and has indicated some spectacular thicknesses and grades of mineralisation as well as opening up continuity of mineralisation to the northwest. An independent, NI-43-101 compliant, resource estimate is currently being prepared by consulting geologist Richard T.G. Parker, (Eur. Geol.).

Hole X-33, located in the centre of the deposit, returned mineralisation over 140 vertical metres in three sections comprising oxide, mixed oxide and sulphide mineralisation and primary sulphide bodies (refer table attached). The results of hole X-33 also indicate a significant copper and gold zone at the base of the main sulphide body at that location which may be related to a discrete feeder zone.

Hole X-42, a step-out hole collared 130 metres northwest of the western limit of the currently known deposit intersected four separate zones of mineralization including 8.75m of massive fine-grained pyrite with low base metal values (between 149.25 and 157.00m) and three further zones of mineralisation between 1m and 5m in width containing 1.54 to 3.76% combined zinc and lead and a further zone of one metre width (between 181.00 and 182.00m) with 170g/t silver, 7.32% lead and 0.64% zinc. This hole appears to be located adjacent to a major northwest-trending structure believed to control the distribution of the replacement style mineralisation at Bilbao. Of particular note is that the mineralization discovered in X42 lies in limestone beneath 46 metres of granite.

Further drilling will be focused in the area of hole X-42 to explore the potential for developing additional resources. The mineralisation at Bilbao also remains open to the southwest where it dips below Tertiary volcanic cover rocks. Xtierra is planning an additional 4,000 to 6,000 metres of step-out and condemnation drilling at Bilbao. -- www.cnxmarketlink.com
