Da Franchises, Da Fans, Da Finest

Chicagoans love their sports teams so the Chicago History Museum is focusing their fall seminar series on Chicago’s favorite professional athletic teams. Da Franchises, Da Fans, Da Finest is a three-part series exploring great moments in Chicago sports history, the fans that fuel these teams, and conversations will some of our city’s very best.

The series begins on Tuesday, October 28 with The Highlight Reel. This program gives a brief history of the city’s franchises and will relive the greatest moments from the Bears to the Bulls and the Cubs to the White Sox. On Tuesday, November 4 join the Museum as we celebrate the fans.

Fandemonium looks at superstitions and sing-a-longs and how sports aficionados can make or break a season and truly influence the game. The series concludes on Tuesday, November 11 with The Hall of Fame. The Museum will host some of Chicago’s most beloved athletes such as Dan Jiggetts from the Chicago Bears and Bob Love from the Chicago Bulls, as they share their stories about their time in the pros.

All programs begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Chicago History Museum and are $10/$8 for Museum members. Tickets that include all three programs are $27/$22 for Museum members.
