Allans Music and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra education and outreach program are hosting a series of fun, interactive workshops to be held in October and November. Members of the MSO will be participating in four FREE workshops at Allans Music Bourke Street and Cotham Road, Kew stores.
These workshops are designed to appeal to a variety of ages and instruments, giving participants the opportunity to work closely with MSO musicians and even ask for some advice!

Masterclass (Ages 13-17)
Saturday 1 November at 2pm
Allans Music, 152 Bourke St, Melbourne
Designed for secondary school music students, this masterclass focuses on helping students to improve their technique, with expert advice from MSO musicians. Suitable for students learning violin, flute, trumpet, trombone, cello and percussion only.
Kids' percussion workshop (Ages 0-6)
Saturday 15th November at 10am

Time for littlies to have a fun, musical morning with members of the MSO. Allans Music will provide a range of percussion instruments for kids to play.
MSO Creative Workshop (All ages)
Saturday 15 November at 2pm
Allans Music, 152 Bourke St, Melbourne
Join members of the MSO in an express 50-minute music making session. Be part of creating a new work and then performing it at the end of the session to family and friends. Bring along your instrument or any other 'soundmakers' you have and join members of the MSO in this fun, interactive workshop. -- www.mso.com.au
