Landmark Theatre Plays Dead Ringer From Hell

The Dead Ringer from Hell, the rock opera dedicated to the powerhouse of music that is Meat Loaf, returns to the Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe on Saturday 22nd November.

This fiery show sees the songs and style of Meat Loaf meet the West End for a rocking show that uses all his best loved hits to tell the hellish story of a man who crashed and died in the bottom of a pit in the blazing sun after stealing the Devil’s motorbike, The Dead Betty.

The Devil admired the man for his bravery and granted him one wish before sending him out of Hell and back to the land of the living. The man wished to be the biggest rock star in the world and thus The Dead Ringer from Hell was re-born and along with the Devil’s daughters, The Dead Betty’s as his backing group, he has rocked the world ever since.

All this will be set to Meat Loaf’s fabulous music, and will feature the classic rock anthems I’d Do Anything For Love, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, I’d Lie For You, and of course Bat Out Of Hell.

With a love interest and comedic banter added to the mix, The Dead Ringer from Hell is not just a tribute show. All are invited to join the devilish ride and don motorcycle leathers or rock God togs for an evening that promises to be an exciting and vibrant theatre event for people of all ages. -- www.northdevontheatres.org.uk
