Night Of Pure Rock ‘N’ Roll

A celebration of rock ‘n’ roll star Buddy Holly and his classic music will be at the Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe on Friday 5th December with Buddy Holly and the Counterfeit Crickets.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Buddy’s 1958 tour, singer and musician Marc Robinson stars as the legend and performs live with his band the Counterfeit Crickets.

Marc is widely acknowledged as being the best Buddy impersonator around and has appeared on ITV’s Stars in their Eyes, taken the lead role in the West End musical Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, and starred in the touring show Rockin’ on Heaven’s Door.

Marc will perfectly recreate the magic of Buddy Holly from the wild knee drops, tailor made suits and horn rimmed glasses to the exact song arrangements and the iconic Fender Stratocaster guitar.

Expect to hear those rock ‘n’ roll classics Peggy Sue, That’ll be the Day, Maybe Baby, Heartbeat, Blue Days Black Nights, Baby I Don’t Care, and Think it Over. -- www.northdevontheatres.org.uk
