Strangely enough, the piano is in a perfect condition, it is properly tuned and not damaged at all. It even had bench, which was in a position as if someone is going to sit down and play. The piano is made by Baldwin Acrosonic piano, model number 987, serial number 733746. It was discovered by a women walking nearby.
As CNN reports, the exact location of the piano is "at the end of a dirt road, near a walking path to a footbridge in the middle of conservation land near the Cape."
Police is investigating the case, but obviously there is not much to do. One thing is clear that there were several people taking the asset to the forest, because it is too heavy for one person. Police took the piano out of woods and transported it to storage. They will wait until the owner appears.
We are already used to surprising and crazy news happening worldwide, but probably this is the most ridiculous story I have ever heard. This looks like a holiday trick, not a crime. The only thing we can do is to wait for the owner to appear and to explain the situation.
