Invented Worlds Of Alida Fish

A seahorse, a headless woman, and statues that have come to life: photographer Alida Fish has created a universe filled with remarkable things.

While many photographers take their subjects from the world around them, Fish imagines her own worlds, and uses traditional, historic, and digital processes to bring to life her amazing visions.

The exhibition runs through February 8, 2009.

Alida Fish is the Delaware Division of the Arts’ 2008 Masters Fellow in Visual Arts. In celebration, the Delaware Art Museum is exhibiting 25 years of her work.
